I usually don't give thumbs down for answers, unless they are very irritating. I mostly give thumbs up.

I tend to concentrate on giving thumbs up rather than thumbs down... If an answer is useless, factually inaccurate, or grossly offensive, though, I'll give it thumbs down.
I do find it rather suspicious when I go back to a question and discover all answer but one has got a thumbs down... hmm, wonder how that happens.

i give thumbs up to the answers i like and just leave the rest.by the way i love ur avatar but i prefer ronaldinho.

I don't give thumbs down they are pointless and a waste of time.
edit:
Someone loves the thumbs down evidently but that's okay it all petty to me.
