I was an Elvis fan in the 60s before he started wearing those silly cat suits, but he couldn't write music when the Beatles came along and George Harrison wrote "Something" I got shivers so they are not mutually exclusive just from different eras, I still occasionally listen to bot

I prefer The Beatles but do enjoy a few of Elvis' s songs now and then.
