The problem is that it's a dreamcast. It's good, but old. Time to update.

Dreamcast has always been a reliable and strong system, some have argued even ahead of its time. One thing is certain though, it is a little old, and if you're still playing it after all these year then it's probably having a bit of wear and tear.

There are many repair shops, some video game stores offer repairs, that you can take these to. In some cases, it just needs to be cleaned and dusted out from the inside (bugs sometimes lay eggs in fans and such), or the laser reader may be off it's track and need realignment.

All else fails, the disks you are using may need to be rebuffered if you're still having issues. Again, there are a number of stores in your are that I'm sure will offer this service.

Yours,
Mike

Dreamcasts are just old. You need a new machine. If you really want anouther dreamcast (and there's no shame in it. They were good, fun machines), you can actually still find them for sale on eBay.

it's being temperamental have the disks or the reader got dust, fingerprints or scratches on this can be a cause of the problems you are having it's old system so you may need to update
