You should see your doctor or midwife in case its a problem with your stitches.
I had my first baby 13 weeks ago and didn't have an episiotomy or stitches. My bleeding (Lochia) lasted about 4-5 weeks and did go brownish at the end. I had a couple of days of redder bleeding towards the end but I was told it was because I was out and about being active and this was making me bleed more heavily.
Sometimes if you start red bleeding after the Lochia has tailed off its just that your periods have started again. This hasn't happened to me but I'm breastfeeding so not expecting my periods to come back for a while yet.

After my second pregnancy my bleeding lessened after a few days. The problem after that was I started doing too much too quickly and the bleeding became heavier again. Have you been doing more walking or trying to catch up with housework, making feeds etc? It could just be that you still need to take it easy, that's what my midwife told me.

Yes.
I bled for about 3 months after giving birth and it also changed color from a dark mucus back to huge amounts of bright red blood.
Even after it stopped and I would bleed every two weeks instead of once a month and I was really concerned about the thick blobs of black mucus that would come out.
The doctor said it was normal and it was as a result of the uterus clearing the inner lining of the womb.

I had my baby 8 1/2 weeks ago and I'm also still bleeding. I also had an episiotomy. It is definitly normal but if you're concerned then go to the doctor's to make sure everything is ok. It's also pretty tender still where I had my episiotomy. Is this the case with you too? Am thinking of going to the doctor myself!

It can be normal. The "scar" that formed over the placenta's implantation site may have come off, and now there would be more of a flow of blood. This pattern of post-partum bleeding is very common.
If you are going through more than 1 pad/hour, than you should call your doctor.
Finally, while very unlikely, it could the return of your menses. Women who breast feed get their menses about 3-4 months after delivery. Women who are not breast feeding get menses about 6-8 weeks after delivery.

I'd suggest you call your health care provider unless it is from a hemorrhoid which is fairly common after pushing out a baby. Also take your temperature to make sure you are not getting an infection. If it is only a hemorrhoid, I'd suggest taking bioflavinoids with rutin to help reduce them. I am not a doctor but I was a lay midwife years ago.

I recomend that you go see your doctor if your bleeding continues. I know that everyone is different, but your bleeding has been going for a long time now.

The more exercise you do the more you bleed - don't worry - if you are worried phone your midwife. I bled for 12 weeks with all my 4.
