the character of Superman/Clark Kent was created in 1938. before that they'd experimented with a mad scientist and used the name Superman there as well. the essense of the mad scientist was recycled more or less as Luthor(first name Lex added later.)
so that would make him 69.
In the DC Unverse Suprman is typically depicted as being 25-40, most often being perpetually 35. It is generally accepted that he first suits up around 25. Having displayed his powers in secret before that. 'present time' in Comics usually has him between 30-35 and aging to about 40 before resetting th etimeline and condensing the events into his first 5-10 years in action.
Birthright had him touring the globe between 18 and 25 before settling in Metropolis and adopting the Superman ID. Most actors who played him have been 25-26 when cast. Reeve was 26, Routh was 26, Cain was 27, Welling was 25 when cast to play 15 yr old CK, (Newton and Christpher who played CK in Superboy between 88-92 were no doubt within range as well{i have no idea if true but I read once that Christpher who had been in Superboy was originally cast as CK in Lois and Clark before being dismissed because of the possible implied continuity})
I found a decorative lunch box that had a bunch of Superman factoids and it listed his age at 35,and gave his B-day as Feb. 29.

The character was created in 1932. If you're asking how old Superman is supposed to be, however, that's a bit more complicated. Since he was around as an adult in 1932, that should make him around 90, but comic book timelines don't always work like that. He's probably in his late 30s, but most writers don't assign specific ages or birthdates to characters, to avoid aging their heroes too much. Otherwise, Supes should be in a retirement home, Spider-man should be in his 50s-60s, and Wonder-Woman, well, let's just not go there.

Superman was first published in 1938 and you can see his first adventures for free on line at the ‘Superman through the ages’ site. They have Superman stories going all the way back to his earliest days and it is well worth looking at.
