I'm gonna be probably the only one not agreeing with the general public, but you can get enough folic acid with adding green veggies into your diet. The prenatal vitamins have a lot of vitamins B which made me gain weight when I didn't needed it in the first place. I think, and it is solely my personal opinion, that doctors should advice women to change their diet first before incorporating chemical vitamins into their diet, but then on the other hand I understand they want to make big bucks for Pharmaceutical corporations, but prenatals won't help you to conceive anyways. To me it is weird that the babies nowadays get born so big even to smaller girls, where it would be more natural to have a smaller baby, depending on the woman's size of course. Couple of months TTC depending on your age is probably nothing, usually doctor will tell you that it takes a healhty couple up to a year to conceive, after that they should seek help.Only if you're over 35 years of age, you should seek help after 6 months of TTC. Good luck :-)

prenatal vitamins would be an awesome idea... theyve tried linking zinc deficiencies with not being able to get pregnant also give your hubby some zinc and vitamin B... so take the prenatal vitamins for a month and continue TTC!! Good luck!! and also remember to have sex alot 14 days after your period! This is when you ovulate to improve your chances of getting pregnant

Prenatal vitamins are great to take if you are TTC but the will not help you to conceive. They will help to get you body into better condition to support life and the folic acid will help prevent birth defects when you do get pregnant. I hope this helps. Good Luck!!

No, it will ensure you have enough nutrients for cell division. The most important nutriant is folic acid, 400mcg daily. Other nutrients are important, but folic acid will reduce the risk of neural tube defects like spina bifida and anencephaly.

they won't help you get pregnant, but you need to be taking them before you get pregnant, as their greatest benefit to preventing neural tube defects to a foetus is in the earliest stages of the pregnancy.
Good luck!
