Even tho it could happen and should happen, there is always enough money for war, NASA, campaign money, private airports, private hyways, plenty of benefits for government and politics, greed for big business and CEO's, and just because other country's have free or next to free health care that "does work", doesn't mean we can have it, a perfect example is the 12 year old boy who's mother couldn't afford the $80. abscessed toothed ended up charging the hospital $250.000. because he got an infection and six weeks later died....that is the mentality of this country....preventive health care works but is ignored...and if everyone paid 4% of their income for health care, regardless of age or working, would more than pay for health care for everyone...in the country...that includes everyone and business...but the insurance company's and lobbies won't let it happen...its called capitalism

Because we are not a completely socialist system yet. Government does not need to be involved in our daily lives.

Second, get your facts straight. We (the US) are not killing innocent civilians. Why do the liberals always blame everything on the US even when it is the REAL bad guys that are doing the crimes? They cannot blame Iran or the insurgents for the suicide bombers. Heck, they cannot even accept or acknowledge the work that we are doing over there.

If you want free health care, go to China and let us lower our taxes.

Japan has the most suitable well being care contained in the international and they pay about 10% of what we do contained in the U. S. for well being care. The approval score for his or her well being care software is like ninety% among their own voters conservative and liberal with ninety 9% participation on a volunteer foundation. people will not in any respect have a well being care gadget that solid although because we do no longer have the guidelines set nor the desire to achieve some element that solid.

First, nothing is free. You will pay for your healthcare, and it will be rationed according to the whim of government officials.

I would rather pay less tax money, plan for my own healthcare, and bring our military forces back to the U.S.

Noah, you need to reevaluate your ideals. Equality isn't a goal, it's a dream. Liberty is a goal, and it would be a far more worthy accomplishment. With liberty, all else is possible.

Who's supposed to pay for this!? Us working citizens that have to pay money into dirt bags that decide not to work and apply for welfare? I think not. Nothing is free. Quit looking for a dang handout and buck up and pay for it yourself. Do you hear us conservatives whining? Probably not. Why? Because we actually take some personal responsibility and don't want to be run by a bunch of liberal whack jobs.

Your tax money would probably not fund a tooth extraction. Besides that, having lived in two countries with free health care, I can testify, you don't want it. The vets in the U.S. are better then those doctors.

Who is going to pay for it? The tax money we are paying now would multiply by leaps and bound if we had free health care for everyone.

Because this isn't a socialist country. I'd rather spend my money the way I see fit.

I hear it is free in France... Why don't you go check it out? Good luck finding a job with their double digit unemployment.

That is such a terrible idea! You want health care? Get a good job that provides it for you. Stop asking for handouts. Nobody in this country deserves my money except the people I feel like giving it to, and you are not one of them!

if you want free healthcare, move to canada. keep in mind, those who want the best medical treatment usually LEAVE their country with free health care to come to the U.S. where they can get the best health care immediately.
