Just be yourself. Don't worry about groups that you feel you need to alter yourself in order to belong.

They will seek you out.
Otherwise you're just trying to fit in, and will be shunned at the first opportunity.
Be yourself, and ignore peer pressure, unless it's causing you physical damage.
I was always good at the piano, and singing.
I went to a school that excelled in sport, and was picked on for years.
I now have a respectable job as a freelance musician, and two of the people in my department were the sturdiest rugby players from my old school you've ever seen.
They now teach clarinet, and trombone.
