That's what I've been thinking lately. It seems that the parents aren't disciplining them enough or at all. All I know is that when I was a teenager I was always on a punishment (grounded) when I screwed up. Nowadays, teenagers are getting away with everything and are extremely rude.

You know! lol. "Sometimes" it's the parents fault. Giving up on disciplining them. Letting them run the show, doing what they want. And sometimes it's the friends they hang out with. Kids are learning from what they see around them. That's why I wish adults would be a good role model. But now a days, the parents can be immature or self-centered. Don't get me started up in here.lol.j/k. But seriously, people need to think about kids/teens first.Cause they copy what they see. Help them to make good decisions.....

I don't know but I remember my folks saying the same thing when I was a teenager so I think every generation just repeats the same statement over and over again.

Give teens a break! They face peer pressure, drugs, etc. You went through some of what teens go through, so just be understanding. Teens have attitudes. So what? Maybe they just have been having a bad week. By the way, some teens just don't like the way adults & parents treat them. Some are actually very mature and responsible. ~Shelby~

I honestly don't know. I'm a teenager myself (17) and I look around at all my peers and think "Why are you all so immature?!?!?!?" I must have an old soul cause I am nothing like most teenagers. Thank God :)

Nothing except for that their parents are always asking them what's wrong with them. Don't you remember what it was like? They're not kids and they're not grown up yet either, it's not easy. Give them a break!

I don't know, but if the school principal was still allowed to use the wooden paddle & swat their @sses when they get out of line, then maybe they would learn to shape up and fly right.

Same song....different verse...we've all heard this question as teenagers. And the teenagers now...will be asking this question when they are grown...how quickly we forget.
