George the fifth was King of Great Britain from 1910-1936. The legend translates to: George V King of all the Britain's,Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India. So today we kind of call it the United Kingdom or UK for short. It didn't take long for the USA and the UK to become long and true friends, that is after the war of 1812 was over and some what forgotten.
