My computer is a mixture of components from different manufacturers as are all systems. My monitor says Gateway on it but we don't know who made it for gateway (it's about 3 years older than the computer) and the other components aren't labeled. His name is Mickey, he is powerful, he is fast and he remembers everything. He is quiet as a mouse until you crank up his surround sound and rattle the windows. He runs XP,makes CDs,DVDs and plays games on a 61inch big screen. Mickey has been real good so I might get him a new view through his window. (Vista) It is amazing how much he knows for a 4 year old.

Mine is definitely a "he"., because it's a man's voice that says: You've got mail, Fran ! Or when I turn it off, it says
"Goodbye Fran" and I say "Goodbye Computer !"
But somehow it looks like a "NORM".

I have the family computer and spmetimes it is a she and sometimes it is a he. Depends on who is doing the fingering.
