Hmm, that's a tough one since Shadow is such a great game. If you haven't played it yet, I highly recommend Ico. Ico is from the same makers as Shadow of Colossus and is sort of an unofficial "prequel" to Shadow. You won't find any Colossi in Ico but give it a try. It has a lot in common with Shadow in that is beautiful, mysterious (there is no english dialogue and very little dialog to speak of at all) and addictive. Some adventure, some mystery, some puzzle-solving. After finishing the game and watching the closing scenes, I was sad that I had to leave that world and wait for another game like Ico. Try it and let me know what you think.

I'd say that God of War is pretty similar to shadow of colossus and god of war is prob the best game for the ps2

There's nothing really like it. It was a one of a kind game when it came out,and it still is basically.
