I have been on yasmin and liked it alright but it started giving me panic attacks? and im already really shy. so my doctor stopped it and gave me mircette. I have oily asian skin and am worried it will make me break out? anyone have any advice about the mircette. also can it gain me weight.

I took Mircette for 3 years back in the late 90s and the only thing I didn't like about it was that I bled a lot while on it because the amount of estrogen in it was too low for me. It caused me to have some problems with my breast. Once I went to a higher dosed pill when it comes to estrogen I did ok.
As for the issue of weight gain, yes, it could cause a bit of that. The weight is mostly water and the average weight gain is that of 5 to 10 lbs. Some women actually lose weight on the pill. I did that in the 6 months I was on Yasmin during part of last year.
