You should be more worried about getting them out of your house, period! At your local hardware store, you can buy sonic devices that you plug in and turn on. You'll need one for each room. Just read the box to see how much area they cover per device (they come 3 to a box). After about 2 weeks, the mice will leave. They don't like the varying sound waves. If that doesn't work, there are 'have a heart' traps that you can get, which capture them alive...then you take them to a wooded area and let them go...AWAY from houses.

mice do not like perpermint oil pure essence oil it is really strong you can buy it at your local health food store or order it online it cost between $5.00-$7.00 put it on some tissue or a cotton ball and throw it around your house I also heard lavender oil their allergic to and make them sneeze themselves to death ha ha ha I have a book about pest and rodent controll and one other thing if you or someone in your home has allergies such as hay fever or asthma you may want to consider doing this a few hours before they arrive or go out for a hour because this stuff is very strong I use for a number of things itching is another it.s coool and icccy peace out!
