You lost me brother..

More info might be helpful.

What confederacy - the 13 states of the CSA during the civil war? They were admitted back to the union, as that is what the point of the civil war was. Succession.

EDIT:

"red states aren't necessary" That was your statement?

30 out of 50 in the last election were red states.
60 percent of them. Hummm.
Why don't 60 percent of the states matter. Let me guess. You are in California.

The Confederacy was disolved at Appomattox when General Robert E Lee surrendered to Grant, ending the Civil War.

Sometimes there is a reference, when one is speaking, to the "confederate states" which, today, is merely a reference to those states who were part of the Confederacy....

Of course, the south is not really happy about all this.

There were 13 states that seceded from the union in 1860. They formed their own country called the Confederate States of America. They were all Southern States were big agriculture and slavery were a way of life. The United States did not want them to secede and so the USA sent troops to keep them from doing it. This resulted in a war we call the American Civil War. Because they lost the war the Confederate States of America was no longer a country. Eventually they were allowed back into the United States of America. The war, by the way, was not originally over slavery but the right of states to secede or leave the union.

There hasn't been a confederacy since the end of the Civil War. It doesn't exist and hasn't for more than a hundred years. It's all the United States of America.

The southern Confederacy IS a part of the history of this nation. Political Correctness cannot undo history, good or bad. What happened, happened.

History, they needed slaves for the cotton fields & they fought the union army, not the US Army. They lost the battle and have been paying for it ever since, the lower south Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama & Arkansas

I thought it was absolved when the union won the civil war. Now look how far this great nation has come in the name of "cultural diversity" aka, other nations money.
