Reps - are for life, r for supporting our country, r good people, most follow the Bilble, which ROCKS, and jus rock!!
dems- r against life, r against supporting our country, r for sinning, (homosexuality) and just dont rock!

Not much actually. People are for or against issues. A person tends to follow a party where he/she agrees with the most issues.
I am a democrat, but the reality is that I only agree with about 60% of the democratic issues. Most people that I know also agree with only a portion of their party's issues.
The majority of Americans are somewhere in the middle. It's the hardcore minority of each party that makes the most noise, and gives the impression that we are so far apart.

Republicans generally favor 'traditional' values, smaller government, and maintaining the status quo.
Democrats generally favor progressive/'liberal' values, larger government, and social reform.

Not a blessed thing that I can tell. Each party is mostly concerned with preventing the other party from accomplishing anything (GRIDLOCK).
