No way B.B. King he is the King of the blues, he done an album with Clapton called Riding with the King, as in Eric had the fortune to play with B.B. King, Eric Clapton would say B.B. was the best of his time, blues has been around for years check out some of the first blues players wanna go back further try, Robert Johnson, Eric Clapton is good but he aint no king of the blues!!!!!!!!!!!!!11.........................

Buddy Guy and Eric Clapton even said that! Oh so many others John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, B.B.King, Albert King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Little Walter, KoKo Taylor, Jr. Wells, even Hendrix did a complete blues cd it's great! I could go on & on. God I love the blues! I have more blues cd's than I can count. Lets add Johnny Winter, Roy Buchahan, Susan Tedeshi, Etta James, Howlin Wolf, Walter Trout, Johhny Lang, Bonnie Raitt etc.etc. But no one puts a show on like Buddy Guy!! All you can say is WOW!

Eric clapton is God, There are so many good ones though...Muddy Waters, Ledbelly, BB King ,Robert Johnson Howling Wolf & Jellyroll Morton.....They all are great and such great names as well.

BB KING.....Clapton isn't considered strictly Blues but I do agree , when he plays the Blues he good....But like I said , I attribute that more of his virsitality ...he can play anything and feel it...
