anybody have any funny quotes or moments between the broadcasters at NHL games...a video would be nice but just what they said would be fine....i'm just bored and would like a good laugh

Bill Clement and Mike Emrick geared down to their undershirts, with their ties around their heads as game 7 of the 1987 playoff series between The Isles and Caps was about to go into a 4th OT session.
Pat Lafontaine ended the marathon affair with a goal at the 8:47 mark of the 4th OT, but the memory of Doc and Bill yucking it up between periods is a reminder of a more relaxed and genuine time in the league's history.
Emrick and Clement were chastized by their employer, ESPN for what was deemed to be unprofessional and unseemly behaviour on air. Ironically, years later ESPN made its mark on broadcasting largely through the on-air antics of the Stuart Scotts, Dick Vitales and others.

Mike Lange from the Pittsburgh Penguins is a great commentator...he said some of the most memorable things when the Pens scored a goal.
"He beats Hextall like a rented mule!!!"
"Scratch my back with a hacksaw!!!"
"Call Arnold Slick from Turtle Creek!!!"
...and my favorite, "I haven't seen that since the 8th grade picnic!"
Good stuff, good memories...GO PENS!

Here's a good link. Rob Kerr from the Fan 960 in Calgary was filling in for Peter Maher when Peter was getting his award for the Hall of Fame. Fight breaks out before Peter gets back to the booth and my favorite quote. " THIS ISN'T DANCING WITH THE STARS, GET FIGHTING!"
