No, it doesn't necessarily mean that. Blood type is determined by a few genes, and you and your brother don't have identical DNA, so you don't have identical genes.
There's about a 50% chance that you have O blood, and probably (I'm guessing, though I don't know and it's determined by how many genes code for blood type) another 50% chance that you have Rh+ blood, meaning that there's a 25% chance you have O+ blood.
Give or take.
I'd get my blood type checked, if I were you. The Red Cross will do it for you.

Not unless you're twins. O positive can donate to everyone except O negative (the universal donor) and can receive only from O types (positive and negative). IMHO, you should donate at the Red Cross; they type your blood for you, and if you ARE type O you are particularly helpful in doing so.

Not necessarily...unless both your parents are O positive.
This is blood type is controlled by 4 alleles (variation of one type of genes): A, B, O
You have to have two O alleles to be a O blood (OO)... having AA or AO makes you A, BB or BO makes you B and AB makes you..well..AB
If you are O positive, you are a universal donor --> you can donate to everyone with rhesus positive blood...but you can only accept O positive blood since O blood have anti A and anti B antibodies that would cause aggregation of A, B and AB blood...which is harmful and fatal...

No, you are not necessarily type O. It's a little more complex than that. If you are O positive, you can donate to everyone except O negative. You can only recieve blood from O positive.

Don't be silly. Your blood type is depend on your parents. If you parents are A and B, you can be O, A, B, or AB. Go to have a blood test!
If your blood type is:
O----can donate to all blood types
A----can donate to A or AB
B----can donate to B or AB
AB--can donate to AB only
Let me tell you something:
My mom & dad's blood type is A and B.
And my two brothers' blood type are O and AB.
Okay, do you understand? You cannot guess it.
Go to have a blood test!

not necessarily.Including O positive you could be O negative or A,B or AB postive or negative.any one of these groups.
If ur O postive ur a universal donar you can donate ur blood to any one.but u can receive only from a O positive person.
As ur universal donor u can donate ur blood every 3-4 months.which is good to you and community provided ur healthy.

you're able to have a toddler with a rhesus unfavourable blood form in spite of if merely one figure is rhesus unfavourable. the anti D injection is merely required at beginning if the toddler is rhesus functional and the mummy is rhesus unfavourable. it style of feels that some well being authorities are giving this injection routinely even though it isn't mandatory except the toddler is rhesus functional. Edit. This new practice of giving anti D injections for the length of the being pregnant isn't mandatory. i become in contact, many, many years in the past contained in the anti D study
