Faktion has absolutely KA music. I love their music, and I try to promote them haha. They were signed to Roadrunner (that ended a month or 2 ago), and they didn't get promoted at all. They deserve so much more.
I want to give you reasons both for promoting the band and for those songs.
As far as the band goes, they are absolutely amazing people. They care about their fans more than nearly any other band out there today. They will personally respond to any message you send them and everything. The music is amazing. It's really touched me and my life. Their live show is the best. I want them to get the recognition they deserve.
My favorite songs:
#1. Better Today- the whole song is about putting negativity behind you. "Had no reason to feel down, for I have found that my negativity starts inside of me". How true is that?
#2. Yourself. It's all about doing things for yourself, because tomorrow is never promised. This song is on their myspace, listen to it.

"Good" is a purely subjective term. I can almost guarantee you the music I like would be stuff that, if you heard it, you would probably dislike. (The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Genesis, Yes, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Vivaldi, Mozart, etc.) Likewise the stuff that you like, for the most part, I probably could not stand. There is no way I can "prove it" simply because my tastes are probably different then yours.

Power Metal is a good place to start.....very melodic, some of the best musicians in the world. Very technical guitar playing.

No music is BAD MUSIC....it's simply an issue of whether the type or style agrees with the person who is listening to it?
There are forms of classical, jazz, country, pop, soundtracks, opera, etc. that I might like that you couldn't possibly tolerate...and vice versa!

what's good is according to your own taste. If you are not experienced with music then you should listen to andrew loyd webber, or top 40 pop music.
