I usually listen to CNN or MSNBC for a couple hours each afternoon. For the past 2-3 weeks it seems like these 2 networks have devoted at least half their airtime to discussing some aspect of these two candidates' campaigns. Is there some reason that these two candidates are being covered so closely right now. Has anyone else noticed this?

By the way, Obama is gonna get the nomination. His personality and charisma kill Clinton's.

They need to focus on them so they can find out things to bash them on in the future.. Like the new thing.. Obama's "white" side of the family were slave owners four generations ago.. pffft!! Who cares?? I'm sure Republicans will be OUTRAGED even though you'd think that would make him more qualified in their eyes...

Senators Clinton and Obama are getting a lion's share of the media coverage because:
1. They are the top two contenders for the Democratic nomination.
2. They are both minorities and would make history even if they lost the presidential election.
3. Sparks are starting to fly and everyone's waiting to see who outmaneuvers who.

Personally, I believe that Barack Obama is by far the better candidate.

i don't know why the news stations do what they do.. it is silly really.

All I do know is that if I were Clinton or Obama, i might not want quite so much attention on the two of us fighting. People have had enough of that. They may end up putting Edwards in the oval office if they keep up the stupid back biting.

Or Giuliani could win... he's a good guy. Anyone but A Bush or anyone connected to Bush. So if I were Giuliani I would not be too fast to stand up and agree with Bush on anything. Could harm him.

yep...and it's particularly annoying because we are 2 years away from having a new president sworn in.
