It's a long Arduous flight from Los Angeles. If I'm going to travel that long inside an aluminum tube. It better be worth it.

I visited Barcelona for the first time last summer and it is by far THE best city EVER!! I highly recommend it, you will not be disappointed. The atmosphere and buzz is fantastic, day and night. There are hundreds of interesting sights and art all over the place. I would really recommend the bus tour as your ticket will be valid for 2 days and you get on and off as you please. the place is so big that this is the best way to see the place without totally wearing your feet out. You have the amazing Gaudi buildings and art galleries plus the beach all in one place. It's fantastic and I can not wait to go back. We were walking around at 2am in the morning and did not feel at all threatened - everyone is out and about enjoying the city. The flight in your tin tube will be worth it! Have a great trip!

Your decision. I stay in Andalucia and my terrific pal lives basically north of Rome. you pick a minimum of a week in Italy. Even then you definately are basically s scratching the exterior. Andalucia is a very good place to circulate to, relatively Sevilla and Cordoba. in case you do circulate to Cordoba, do examine the section because it replaced into as quickly as the third best city in Europe. there is a lot extra to be certain there than maximum pundits at here understand approximately. Madrid, alongside with Toledo and Segovia are a could, and Barcelona is basically remarkable, so which you're able to pick what to do. one difficulty, do no longer overstretch your self or you will spend various time traveling quite of seeing the good bits!

Great place - stay in or near the Ramblas or in the Gothic Quarter just to the east. This is a good base from where you can explore the city's sights by day including Gaudi's masterpiece, the unfinished Sagrada Família Cathedral, and Parc Güell in the north.
