at buffets,how many people touch the serving spoons before you? Or do you never think about it?

Never think about it , If you thought about these things you´d never eat at all. good job you don´t see what goes on in the kitchen´s in restaurants then . that would open your eyes, and your stomach

Yes! It bothers me! I wash my hands before and after I touch the spoons. Some people just come in, touch the spoons, then go wash their hands leaving all the germs behind on the serving spoon.

Not really. I'm not that paranoid. Besides, it's not like they're touching the food and putting it back. At least if they're touching the spoon you can sanatize your own hands after you touch it.

Classic example as to why I don't go to buffet restaurants, hate buffet get-to-gethers.

I've never thought about it before!
I believe it does us good to expose to the odd bit of dirt or germ here and there....makes our immune systems better I reckon! People who are over the top conciously disinfecting everything are more likely to get ill from common everyday germs (thats my opinion anyway)

only if it is more like a pizza buffet. Cause all the other times I would use my fork. Pizza I use my hands

yes!! I hate those places, people sniff or something else on the food, or they touch it to "try" it. disgusting, besides I watch csi, and they show in the programme that when people talk, saliva comes out of their mouths, soooo people while serving chat, food with lots of saliva and bacteria, I pass. home meal for me please.
