They are both very pressing issues, but I think that democrats have decidedly made the war the major issue. It really would take Gore running to make the environment the issue since hes a flip-flopper on the war as well, and that might not even work considering his electric bill. I think we should throw our full support into the war, let the generals do their jobs and give the environment the front seat for a while.

Neither. The war will be winding down one way or the other, at least in Iraq. Global warming is the fad this year, but people will obvious conclude that the economy and terrorism are more important. I think 2008 will be the battle royal over a lot of issues such as health care, social security, the war on terror, and not global warming.

Although the environment is a very important issue for me as a democrat, unfortunately that is not the case for a lot of conservatives. I would venture to say that the occupation of Iraq is going to be more of the issue since republicans and democrats alike are against us occupying a country years after George Bush declared "Mission Accomplished".
We are not involved in a war right now, we're involved in an occupation of a country that does not want us there. Since Edwards as already laid out his plan on how to get us out, he's receiving my support.

it be the WAR, it always is when one is going on. You see that all the candidates will line up on taking our people out of iraq. But then it allow all the problems to come here like 9/11.

thats because its what the dems want. they have no footing in the war effort and they know the people know it. so they are doing the enviro scare routine to get people concerned about it. but when the main speaker (gore) has a mansion that consumes four time the energy and fuel that a normal house uses AND his own private jet, I dont see how we can take him seriously.

It will be the war, illegal immigration, health care, stem cell research, gay rights, abortion.
The environment is Al Gore's pet project and until he practices what he preaches it's hard to take him very seriously.

Both..but I'm sure the GOP will figure out a way to back burner them both and toss out their standard wedge issue lies & hyperbole just deflect from the importance of our children's future here on earth.

If Gore decides to run...FINALLY...it would be both. He's smart enough to know what our problems are, and how to address them.
