Based on the questions and posts about him, you'd think he has more detractors listening to him than actualy fans.

LOL! I have never really been a Rush fan, and I rarely watch television, but I have had the same thought as you. I think they do watch him, just to get material to bash him with.

Much as they watch Bush.

Hey, everybody needs a good laugh once in a while - and he is certainly laughable......That's why he is referred to as an entertainer....

I don't agree with everything Chris Rock says either, but I listen to him 'cause he's funny.

So is Rush Blowhard. The only sad part about it is there are poor schmucks out there who really believe what he says.......not realizing that he doesn't believe most of it himself....but the schmucks are making him a very rich man..he laughs all the way to the bank.

I like to know what people are talking about, so I watched
Rush for about 5 minutes, 3 times - that was all I could take.
The Michael J. Fox thing was on every cable news station,
so it was hard to avoid it.
O'Reilly, on 60 Minutes, said Rush was purely for entertainment
purposes. One of few times O'Reilly was believable.

Two reasons: there is little else on the radio and he is annoying entertaining at times. Of course when you are in your car muttering "What crap." you find yourself reaching for the button that puts you back on the all Albanian Folk Music station after a while.

People only need to have heard him once to know they never want to hear him again... that doesn't mean they don't remember and can't criticize. Also, I think some people listen to him sometimes just to get a laugh out of where the cons are headed that day, what silly stories they are trying to sell as truth.

They listen so they can be amused because they disagree so much. Also for ammunition. How else will people be able to criticize if they don't know what he is saying?

Virtually all liberals are hypocrites. So they can say they hate Rush even when they secretly know they can't get enough of him and his well-reasoned positions.

Kinda like Algore preaching about global warming while living in a 20 room mansion that uses more electricity and gas in a month than the average American uses in a year.

Being a liberal means never having to accept responsibility for your positions.

keep your friends close and your enemies closer.... as the saying goes.

But to answer your question, I enjoy listening to Rush and see how many times in one day I can detect lies or misinformation. I do get a little disgusted on days when the huge blatent lies come out. But what am I going to do, he is Rush the entertainer.

a lot of people post on him becuase it is people like him that are divisive and hateful that do great damage to this country.

If your going to criticize somebody you should know what your talking about. What wouldn't make sense is to not listen to him, but then criticize him.

Who the hell is that?

I've heard a lot about this person but no one will ever tell me (without snide comments) who the hell he is.
