Is anyone else sightly upset that the guy at the end who had the baldish hairdo went home, and that Sinjaja stayed? I thought he was bad and was made that a guy who sings good was out by a guy who sings bad.

When they announced who was going home, my brother and I were sitting in front of the TV, knowing exactly who would be going home... Sanjaya or the other guy (I forgot Nick or AJ) When we found out it wasn't Sanjaya, we screamed, "WHAT!?!?!??!!?!?!?" I guess people like him because he stands out... very surprising, though.

I ADORE Sanjaya, but I really thought he was going home yesterday. At the same time though, it sucked seeing A.J go. I think he has real potiental and he improved greatly since last week. That being said, as much as I love Sanjaya, he needs to step up his game. He's adorable and seems very sweet - and he certainly can sing. He steped up his confidence a lil this week, and even seemed a lil coy - but the vocals just weren't strong enough (or loud enough). But I think he was much more confident during Hollywood week with his sister's support. He has sooo much potiental, I just hope he shows it off soon -otherwise he's gonna be in trouble!
I do think that Antonella should've gone home. She's just not in the same league as the others. She's cute and all, but she just doesn't have the pipes for this - sorry hunny!
Anyone else think it's kinda weird that A.J and Leslie both sang the same song - and they both got voted off? Maybe America just doesn't like that song.

I'm a little sad that he left and Sinjaya stayed. I think Sinjaya has a good voice, especially when he auditioned, but he has chosen some really bad songs since then. We can't really complain, though, because we, as the viewers, decide who stays and leaves.

Yes, I agree. Seems like people are not voting for the best voice, but for other reasons. That's too bad. Like Simon says, "It's a singing contest".

I know I was so mad A.J was voted off,he was a million times better than Sanjaya,I just don't understand how Sanjaya is still there and A.J who can really sing is gone.

Yes it's true.. That's the nature of the beast. Sometimes the good singers are usually booted out by some one who looks better. The American public can be very superficial. I hope this time the BEST singer actually wins. Taylor and Fantasia weren't the best when they won.

I know, I thought Sanjaya was getting voted off too....and I thought Antonella was too. I don't think she's good at all. She's only on the show still because she's pretty...I hate this show.. but I love it. lol

I agree I think Sinjaja should of left the first week!! But that just shows you your votes count!! His whole country is probably voting for him! So vote, vote vote, the whole two hours!

The guy's name is AJ. I was so pissed. I love AJ and I can't believe he's gone.
