is there a way to have like two itunes accounts? my brother and i both have ipods and we share a computer. whenever i plug in my ipod it adds all of his songs and vise versa. how can i keep it from doing this? or is there a way that i can have my own thing so my music is separate from his? (other than making a playlist)

That happens because when you connect your ipod you click ok. Right when you connect your iPod or his a window pops up asking if you want to add the songs or updates (If I'm not mistaken) automatically. You have to uncheck the box where it says that so you can add just the songs you want instead of having all of his songs in your iPod.

If your computer can create two different user accounts, you can put itunes in each account. When you turn on your computer and sign in to your account, you have your itunes and your music. The same goes with your brother's account too. He has his own account, own itunes, and own music. They won't interfere with each other.

You can't run 2 different I pods on the same computer it is programed for the first one you plugged in automatically.it will only screw up both if you try to configure it .go to Microsoft/I tunes or click on help in i tunes it will tell you this.you can set your itune for manual download but it won't load songs when you plug it in.or e mail the songs to you brother and he can download them on his comp.
