my younger son just came over and unplugged his i-pod from the computer without going in to stop it. Now the i-pod appears to be frozen (on). I plugged it back in and tried to go in and disattach it properly (still stuck).
Help!

Try resetting the iPod first. To do that, toggle the hold switch on the top on (orange) then off. Then hold down Menu and select (the center button). Hold those buttons down until the iPod resets. The Apple logo will come up then shortly afterwards you should be at the main menu, ready to go again. A quick reset usually solves all kinds of iPod problems. Hope that helps.

There's a way to re-set it by holding down 2 of the buttons for longer than 6 seconds - I think it's the center and the play/pause button, or it's the center and menu button. Sorry, I can't remember for sure.

Well didn't he see the part that says "Do not disconnect"?

Well honestly you should ask the people who work at the place where you bought it. They would know.
