Potentially, several years...............

Do you use them only in the snow?

If you drive on these tires in dry conditions, they will not last long.

These tires are engineered to give superior grip in snowy/icy conditions, not to be driven on dry/sunny days

You need to change them out with other tires when the snow melts.

If they are real winter tires and you drive them in the heat of summer, not long.

Softer rubber, so they wear out faster in the heat.

A brand new tire has eleven/thirty-seconds' (11/32) of an inch of tread depth.

a trick I recently heard of:
take a penny and put it so the face/head on the penny is upside down and put it in between the treads, if it's below the head it's time for new tires.
There was an ad about this on a tv station last night....haven't tried it yet - although I never need to my bf's a mechanic! lucky me!
