If you like someone the best way is to hang out with them and the best way to do that is to share an intrest or maybe just hang out or have lunch with them.
If you already spend alot of time with them a few hints would,nt go astray.
But then again you could save your self all the trouble and say;
What are you doing on saturday want to go ( an intrest you both have in common)?
If they are interested in you after that they will say yea sounds good and they should ask you when will they see you next.

Hinting is bad. Just say "Would you like to go out sometime"? If they say yes...make a date...if they say..I`ll think about it..they`re not that into you.

Just be cool and go up to him/or her and ask them out. Mostly be yourself.
