My husband is an IT person, and I found out he's been reading through my messenger conversations and emails via the computer's temp files. I don't like it that he's doing this. He said he won't do it again, but I don't trust him so I want to make sure I get them ALL deleted daily. I don't understand how he accessed my messenger conversations without my password.

if your husband is snooping on your pc you have far more issues then what your typing , however several things you can do #1 make sure to go into internet expoler and delete all your files this can be done under tools , as for messenger make sure it is not set to log your conversations again this can be done in messenger under the setting icon , 3rd sit his butt down and tell him look here snoop on me again and you will have to sleep with one eye open , and this will be on the sofa

depending on the messenger program you are using you will find in the settings an option to save message logs just untick that option and conversations will not be saved.a point worth knowing many messenger programs save conversation logs as a text file and you do not need a password to read them you only need to know the location they are saved in.as far as temporary internet files, open internet explorer and click on tools then click on internet options and then click on advanced and scroll down to the security section and tick the box that says empty temporary internet files folder when browser is closed click apply at the bottom and your sorted.and yes i agree reading others conversation etc is bang out of order.

if you've got nothing to hide, why worry, he can find them anyway.
