I wasnt planning on talking to him again until he appologised but I dont like holding grudges- What should I do, wait for him to appologise and bear the grudge until then or just forgive him anyhow??

It's mostly something trivial between best friends. Tell him what upset you and get on with your lives. You're best friends for goodness sake, he would appreciate you being true as you would him. You'll laugh afterwards, believe me....
Even if it's life or death you will still be mates and laughing about it soon. Just take the balls and say it!

the bible says if you have anything against your brother, go to him. even if you are not a christian the principle still works. no friendship is really a friendship until there are disagreements and you see that you can work through them. have you ever heard of "loving someone enough to fight w them"? in other words if you don't care you will not fight and if the freindship is genuine then when, not if, you have problems you will work them out. we all have problems some time in relationship bc we are imperfect people! go to him and forgive or let the friendship go, but know that if you let it go, it never was the real thing to begin w. and remember circumstances don't make you who you are, they only prove (show) who you are.

Forgive him. That's what best mates r for. Just make sure that he knows he's done something wrong and that he's not going to do it again in a hurry. Or maybe he doesn't think he's done anything wrong, either way life is short and good friends are scarce.

U sound like a confused person!! Not exactly a perfect best mate!!!! If ur mate has done something !!!TERRIBLE!!!! Den maybe it's time 2 move on!!
But if u really like ur mate den 4give 'im!! After all u'd be losing a good mate and we r gonna make mistakes in life (always av, always will)
De choice is urs and only u can decide weva ur mate is worth it!!!

Tell him what annoyed you, being best mates you should beable to talk about anything. Don't bare a grudge, unless the geezer knows what he has done (he might not actually know he's done anything wrong) he can't apologise.
Once you've talked about it, you can make your decision if you want to continue your friendship.

depends how serious the thing was. if you truly are best friends you shouldn't need to ask that question. if my best friend upset me i'd make sure she knew why and talk about resolving it. best friends take you for what you are " warts an all " so really unless its really major this is childish behaviour. how long will you let it go before you make up? no point putting it off if you want to remain friends. get it sorted, lifes too short for petty squabbles.

You should explain to him what he has done and that it has annoyed you. give hime the chance to apologise. I'm sure he will. if he has done soething genuinely bad and he doesn't appologise then he doesn't sound like much of a mate.
