My car starts to pull to the left when I'm driving, could this be a sign that my wheel barrens need to be replaced? Or what could be other reasons for this.

If your car is pulling to one side that means your car is out of alignment or you have worn tires.

Bad bearings would a noise that sounds like something coming apart.

Your old tires had probably worn out as to accommodate the improper alignment that you new tires are telling you about by making the car pull to one side.

It could also be 'shocks' if you have MC-Pherson struts as there is a cam bolt (on some) that adjusts a component of the wheels' alignment.

Bearings usually end up making noises, or smelling as the grease in them burns.

When you jack up the car, rock the wheels from the 12 and 6 positions, if there is any play or looseness in them then you'll probably need new wheel bearings.

it is wheel bearings but a pull usually means that your car is out of alignment.

Sticking brake caliper is another possibility.
