You didn't mention what part of the country you are in or even if you are in the USA.
If you were in Canada you would already be taking French as it is required of all students there. Since you say you want to visit in France again then it might be good to take French.
Chinese might be worth while because it is the country with the "most favored nation" status in the USA. It might help when the Chinese take over the rest of the US ports and much of the USA.
Spanish would be good because there are many in the USA that are of Mexican decent...Don't anyone even go there on the illegal immigration thing!....In the South western part of the USA Spanish is spoken in most places.
My choices would be: Spanish, French, Chinese, in that order of those you said. But that is me. You should take what would be most useful to you, now and in the future.

Chinese will be more difficult, but will give you a better chance of getting into college because its a rare language that not many students take. It can also help you out of school later because China is a very big business country, and if you work for an international company you may be doing business with Chinese people.
Don't let a trip with friends influence your decision, you can make it on vacation in France without knowing a word of french.

I take Chinese at a chinese school since I'm American born Chinese but I take French and Spanish at school. In my opinion Spanish is definitely the easiest of the three and its interesting/useful too. Pronounciation is easy since you pronounce it like it is. The actual vocabulary is ok too since they are mostly english cognates. (Latin is the origin of English, French, Spanish, and I think Italian after all)
French is a bit more difficult in terms of pronounciation but it is more enjoyable. The vocabulary also contains many English cogantes. There are a lot of interesting culture aspects as well.
Out of the three chinese is definitely the most useful and difficult to learn since there are thousands of characters and you have to know maybe a hundred or more to be considered fluent. If your not chinese, pronounciation will definitely be difficult but practice makes perfect!
Personally, I would choose french just because I think its one of the most interesting and has a rich culture. But chinese is also good if your willing to take a challenge.

as you are probably an english speak you are likely to get futrther with french because it uses the same alphabet and therefore it is just new words. chinese is a completely different language and i know a lot of people who have struggled a lot with it, but it will soon be a very widely spoken language because china is such a growing economic power, and will therfore be very useful, especially in business,
depends whether youre just set on grades in school, or something for use afterwards
i'd go for french personally, but do what you'll enjoy
good luck

Maybe Chinese would be more useful? You could also just sign up for both classes, see which one you like better, and then drop the other class before the drop deadline. You'd most likely do better in a class you enjoy.

French will be easier to learn and maybe more fun.
Chinese will more difficult (new signs, etc)but more useful. To make use of any language in the real world you have to dedicate yourself to it
