Recently, I have realized something very odd.
Many times, I talk to myself. That's fairly normal. The odd thing is, though, is that when I'm talking to myself, I am using a British accent. Now, of course, if I lived in the UK, that would be perfectly normal. However, I live in the US. I was born in the US all my life. I have never even BEEN to the UK.
Now, on the other hand, when I'm talking to someone normally, I use my usual accent (American), but occasionally, I catch myself slipping. Now I talk to my horse with a British accent on a regular basis. I've once even spoken to my teacher like this.
Have you ever encountered anything like this? Do you have any idea what's going on? Believe me, I'm as perplexed as you are. Any ideas about what's happening or if you've observed this before, I'd be glad to hear it.

Ever wondered why most of the villains in US movies are all British - THE VOICE.

It is quite something - I am British; many people have said my voice is the sexiest part of me - I should be on the radio!

There is a quality of prestige about the English accent which actually sets it apart. Do you secretly yearn to be British, or a film (movie) star, or a radio presenter, or marry into British Royalty, or something else British?

You may just find the accent attractive or you are subconsciously repeating an accent you heard on TV. Trust me when I say that most "British" accents on American TV are badly done. Even Daphne from Frasier (who is really English) puts on a ridiculous accent to appeal to the American audience. You should really come here one day. Perhaps it's your destiny to live here;)

Maybe you just like the way a british accent sounds... i know I do. Me and my good friend use to talk in british accent all the time to eachother, we even tried picking up girls at the bars once or twice, that was fun.

This sounds like a vitamin deficiency.

Take Centrum 'Silver' or something similar daily, and let us know how it goes . . .
