To increase adrenaline levels - and also up endorphin levels. Boosts energy and feel-good factor. Sadly it doesn't make you a better driver; just a happier one :)

I do so I can dance, I have a long commute and I freak my steering wheel. The guys in the trucks get a kick out of it.

I like it for long road trips - keeps me going and driving fast! If I'm going to the health club, it gets me revved up to start my workout. Or it's to get in the mood for hittin' the club! Do what you like!

I've wondered that question before too. I always answer myself with this answer: They enjoy it and sometimes it helps people drive. I like it anyways. Do you not like it or something?
