My dog helps Ariel, my cat, do things, but when Pretzel,my dog, is asleep, Ariel is scraching him.What should I do with Ariel?

squirt her with a water bottle everytime you see her being mean to your doggy... this way she will understand that doing this to the dog i get wet!! =) she give it up soon... just remember this is a way that your kitty is telling your doggy that she is not some furry animal that can be eaten =) its a way to keep your doggy on his toes =) my cats do the same thing to my dog but i dont intervene since my dog is 3 times bigger than my kitties... but in your case it sounds like the dog is about the same size as the kitty (because of his name) I hope this was helpful!! The water bottle helps me train my kitties to stop doing things they arent supposed to!

The spray bottle solution is a good answer! Your kitty is just maintaining his "i'm the boss" status by picking on the pooch.
By the way, Pretzel is a really cute name for a dog!

I easily have friends with dogs and some with in consumer-friendly words a cat, then there are those who've both. the only aspect I note is they love them an identical, an animal lover is often an animal lover. no massive distinction.

A squirt gon is great for training a cat not to do something. Just pay attention, be ready, and react fast. Oh, and try not to get the dog, so you might want to practice before you actually do it... :)

get a little spray bottle and fill it with plain water.. when the cat is ready to attack the dog or attacking the dog.. spray it in the face with a splash of water. After a while it will stop. and your cat will start looking at you with its ears back and its eyes narrowed and it will think to itself with its tiney cat mind.. "Now if you were a mouse, I'd show YOU!"

WHEN ARIEL IS MEAN TO PRETZEL, SQUIRT HER. THE 2 WILL, SOMEDAY WORK THINGS OUT. BUT, UNTIL THEN MAKE SURE THEY BOTH KNOW THEY ARE LOVED.

u could tell Ariel to stop and if she doesn't just seperate them but when u think that she has decided to be nice u can put them together again
