I am thinking of purchasing a stackable washer/gas dryer for my apt. Is there a way I can hook it to the existing gas pipe that my stove is hooked to, kind of like a "Y" connector set-up. Also, how does one vent the dryer if there is no available window? One more thing...do they come with an attachment to hook-up to a sink faucet? Thanks to all who answer.

If you have more than 2 people to do laundry for they are worthless. My husband had one in his apartment when I met him and he had two kids. It took forever to wash and dry a small load.

I'm not sure about hook up but u will probably have to involve your landlord at least if not a plumber as well and depending on what size/brand you get they are not much smaller then a regular washer/dryer we have one that is electric and it's great for the small space we have in our apartment.

You will have to involve a plumber for your project. The washer must empty into a laundry tub, and the gas dryer needs its own connection.

These are great units, though; no more bending for the dryer!
