OK, can we try this, and we CAN end the war?

Question

OK, here is a plan to end the war tomorrow. We leave Iraq, tomorrow (maybe Monday), and take all troops with us. We also take all troops in combat roles out of other countries. We secure the borders, to ensure no terrorists can cross the borders from Mexico.

We will also repeal the PATRIOT act.

NOW, we have made most of the war protesters happy, and 90% of them are convinced that the war in Iraq wasn't preventing a terrorist attack anyway, so....

We have every person who protested the war sign a paper, which states that if we have another terrorist attack in the U.S., they would have to join the armed forces to retaliate.

Since they believe we will have no more terrorist attacks, I am sure they will be GLAD to sign up!!!

Or will they weasel out of it, knowing that withdrawal from Iraq means MORE TERRORIST ATTACKS??

So, what is it protesters? Would you sign up??????

Besides the fact that there is no proof that this war prevented any terrorists attacks on US soil but plenty of data to show that since we went into Iraq attacks in other countries have increased greatly.

I do very much like the part about securing the borders and repealing the patriot act.

I have a better plan, get the President to tell the truth to the American people the next time one has a hard-on to invade another country. Your blame is misplaced, our President and his administration are the root cause of us being in Iraq. It was never intended to fight terrorism, it was to topple Saddam and let Iraq become a democracy, like that's what they wanted. How can anyone at this point support this fiasco? It has devolved to the point of our being there is only adding to the problems, not solving them. Can anyone seriously believe that all terrorists from around the world are now in Iraq and that is why the United States has not been attacked again, along with the Patriot Act protecting us. You are seriously delusional to think it is anyone's fault other than the President's this whole thing is so screwed-up. You guys always talk about taking responsibility, take responsibility and own up to the fact this is the creation of the President and his administration and it is a complete failure.

The likelyhood is that the terrorists would be the same good old Americans Like Timmy McViegh, or Unibomber. I think the USA declaring war on Tennessee and showing them a bit of the old Shock and Awe that was sent overseas would be just too perfect. Good Plan Buddy!.

How can you guys believe that the invasion in Iraq is taking care of terrorists....You guys need to to some outside the U.s. research ....We keep pissing off countries and they are going to attack they are not all in Iraq.....thats obsurd....think!....

The only serving these Liberal protesters will do is behind the counters of Starbucks and McDonalds protecting our double lattes and Big Macs. No chance they will enlist. The military has very strict policies against recruiting mommas boys, bed wetters and people with gender identity issues which leaves this crowd out.

What you fail to see is that there are people who fight to repress military action in all it's forms. Wether it be foreign invasions, air assualts, police action, or covert warfare. And regardless of the flag used to cover the blood stains.

Those types of people are the opposites of war mongers.
