are you bending your wrist around the mouse? try keeping your hand as straight as possible, also when your not using the mouse, take your hand off it and relax it, take regular breaks or place your hands down the side of you for a minute.
mine used to hurt as i had my hand clawed round the mouse all the time. if you can use a laptop its easier.

The proper way to use a pc, is to sit on a chair, with the pc on a desk, you should then have both hands on the desk, both using the keyboard. You can buy wrist supports, so that you're wrists don't drop down (they should always be at a straight angle).
However, I use a laptop, it's balanced on the arm of the sofa, while I lounge across and use it wrongly! I fiddle with the nipple mouse with my right hand, and then type with both, but my wrists are not supported at all. BUT, I only use it for an hour or so each evening...if you're using it more than this, then get a proper workstation, and invest in a wrist support.

Your wrists should not be getting sore. This sounds like it is a beginning case of carpal tunnel syndrome, and will get worse if you don't do something about it. It also sounds to me like you hold your hands/wrists in a stiff position that is causing the pain to occur. Try an ergonomically friendly keyboard (this may help, and they sell them everywhere.)

do you mean when you are using the mouse and the keyboard? try raising the keyboard up. normally they have pull out stands on the back. and u can get wrist rests that sit in front of the keyboard and prop your wrist up. same for the mouse. try some stores that sell pc accessories.

I use the 20 minute rule. Every twenty minutes, I avert my gaze to something else (lessens eye strain), stand up and stretch (your hands in this case need a rest)--give myself 5 minutes and go back to typing whatever work I need to do...try it..hope it helps!!

make sure you use a chair with armrests. They have keyboard rests also that you can probably purchase at a computer store.see www.officeworld.com, and search for wrist pads.
good luck :>
