hate to burst everyone's bubble, but i don't think there will be a run like george mason's for a long time, because what they did what just magical and it certainly will be many years before someone repeats it...i think the team with the best chance is winthrop, they have senior leaders who have played in two ncaa tournaments previously, and have shown the ability to win on the road, plus their only losses have come to unc, wisconsin, texas a&m, and maryland, all top 25 teams(three of them being in the top 10)

UNLV look good this year. I know they have won a national Championship in the past, but they've been so far under the radar for the last 10 years, they will come out and surprise some teams. Probably a sweet 16 team.
Also, Akron looks interesting. I'd like to see any team run up and down the court with them.

University of Virginia, I know they aint a Mid-Major but there basketball program has been down the toliet since Pete Giluen was the coach but the coach that they brung in from Depaul 2 years ago he has brought them back to ACC championship, say what you want but i think they could possibly make a good run if they don't get put in bracket with the Ohio States, wisconsins, or Ucla they might have a good chance

Drexel, more road wins than anyone in the country. Tough wins against Syracuse and Villanova, tough come from behind win at Creighton. AND they are a Colonial Athletic team just like George Mason.

It'd be either Akron or Xavier. According to the Analysts from ESPN both seemed to be stacked and fired up for the tournament. Xavier is coming off a 8 win streak if they win their next game. Akron is pumped and said they have been waiting for this opportunity for a long time. Hope I helped.
