Your offense is strong. Your only real weakness there is a lack of overall speed.

You got issues with pitching though. Sheets, Verlander and Willis are solid enough. Mulder and Burnett are no great shakes, but are servicable enough when healthy. Wang will get the wins and that is about it. Colon is still hurt and may never regain his form. Hudson had a really bad year last year, but I think he may rebound. Who knows which Garland you will get this year. I would worry the most about only having one closer. He is ancient, but at least you have his probable successor.

Needs:
Saves
Trade some of the so-so pitchers for a good one

Can afford to lose:
-Burrell - lousy average and streaky nature
-Mauer - coveted by many, his average is great, but he will not boost your overall stats all that much - he is injury prone and simply does not get enough at bats

It looks strangely like you are in a 8 team league.
Colon might pitch in late April - or not, Mulder is out until July and you need a closer. Pat the Bat usually plays well at the start of the season but by June every pitcher will realize that he hasn't learned to hit a curve ball this year either.....

it is average you need to get a 1B that wouldn't become injured during the season, hope that burrell will match his numbers this season, but your OF, 2B, 3B are aces except cano he is still in the making, but showed he was ready last season.

Now your pitchers are alright Willis hopefully will have a better season then last year, needs to put up numbers like he did in 2005 lets see if verlander will put up the same numbers as he did last season, but on paper he is ace material. the other pitchers are risks defiantly colon, Mulder( out for most of season), and Burnett. then you got pitchers that you will need to pray for that they will return to the tip top shape they use to be Garland, Hudson, and Jones( great job on picking up Zumaya because if Jones does bad either him or Fernando Rodney will take the closing position). then Wang well just have to see how he does.

The team looks pretty good. The only thing is that Zumaya is kind of a waste because todd jones is the closer for Detroit so Zumaya is only going to give you an era and K's. I'd look to get rid of him and find yourself another closer. If there isn't any in free agency then you have some pretty good players to trade for one.

very good team. i mean if there is no saves, then your good.

your outfield is great and your infield is quality besides ss, you need to improve their.

note: mulder is out for a long time, get him out of the starting lineup

Not great. You need to trade for some stronger infielders.

out of all the teams that have been put on here, yours is definitely the best. the other people in your league should just retire.
