I think it doesn't serve the country's best interest. With Iraq fiasco USA is not likely to wage any wars for some decades to come. The world is finally realizing that the nuclear weapons are more of a liability than asset when it comes to the national security. Pakistan is a good example of a country that can't feed their people potatoes but are boasting of being a nuclear power. Iran is a beautiful country with such a rich cultural history. You don't need nuclear enrichment bcoz you're already rich my friend.

I think that they are trying to hide the fact that they are planning to make nuclear weapons. If they are not making nuclear weapons, why hide the enrichment process from the outside world. With a leader such as they have now, who openly says that he believes another country should be destroyed, the world cannot trust Iran with nuclear weapons.
If Iran truly wants to build nuclear power plants for electricity, then they should be able to do so - but within the constraints of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. After all, the sources of power (coal, gas, oil, etc.) will not last forever and humanity must turn to other power sources to maintain our civilization.

First of all, the Iranian people are a friendly sort, and they must not be considered as "collateral damage" in the event the U.S. or Israel should attack Iran's nuclear sites. Nuclear enrichment in the hands of an insane person-Mr. Ahmoud Ahmadinejad-demands a military response only against the nuclear facilities in question IF diplomacy continues to fail and before this religious nut-Mr. Ahmoud Ahmadinejad-gets his Apacolyptic hands on a nuclear weapon.

The blogbaba knows Israel is toast if Iran gets a nuke, unless it is the U.S. or Israel who give the Iranians the nuke, then Iran is toast. Either way someone going to be doing some serious dying over there in the near future if the Republicans aren't voted out of office in 08.
Iran should stop funding Hezbollah and start funding the Democrats, they might be a better investment.....come to think of it where was Obama educated at......

Iran is anti-Zionist. It has highest number of Jews after Israel in middle east. These Jews are living for centuries before Islam or Christianity. They have contact with their relatives in Israel. Iran has its own view point. It is anti-Zionist and not anti-Jews. About Iran's nuclear program, there is no reason that we should not believe in the statements of their leaders. I feel that Iran should always abide by United Nations resolutions and not to give opponents a chance to make its defense weaker.

I think it is in the hands of the wrong people that spews hate and racism. When a Country threatens to wipe a Nation off the face of the earth, in my opinion has some real evil about them. Be careful who you follow in your country for he will turn against his own people and then you will be living like the people in North Korea!

Obviously they are gettingready to make a bomb, but before they can threaten anyone they will have to test it and find some means of derilvering them.
Unfortunately if we, Israel, Pakistan and many others were allowed to develop a bomb, we are in a very hypocritical position telling others they do not have the same right.
