I don't know about nudity. But I wouldn't say it's the best week of the year to bring small children to Daytona Beach. Up the road (well I-4) about 15minutes is New Smyna Beach if it's an option to rebook your hotel there or even if to go there each day would be better if you are looking for a beachy experience.

I drove through a part of the festivities on Saturday, and I saw three boobs and numerous assless chaps. If you want to stay away from that stuff, you should just stay in the shores, don't bring them near Main Street, downtown Beach Street, or US 1 in Ormond. Like the other guy said, New Smyrna Beach is great, it's definitely more of a family atmosphere. Granted, there will be bikers down there, they will be way more timid than in the heart of the event.
