My freind has asked me and my freind to the cinema 2moro night and they want to see a film that really isn't my type and i know im going to be soooo bored! i don't want to say no because his b'day was last week but i couldn't go so we are going 2moro....what can i say...or do i have 2 go??........

Nothing says you have to go. You can bow out and suggest another activity next week to celebrate his birthday... something that you both enjoy.

You don't have to go, you can just explain that you want to celebrate your friend's birthday in a different way. And think of something that you and your friend would like to do together maybe on a different day. This way you don't leave your friend hanging and you don't have to be subjected to something that you won't enjoy.
If push comes to shove... and your friend really wants you to attend.. then just try your best to make the sacrifice for your friend, as it is his birthday.

Is it really that big of a deal???? If he is your friend my goodness go, it is only a couple of hours, do something fun afterwards. You can even admit afterwards you didn't like the movie, or, God forbid you end up liking it. Do you have to go, well...... it is only a movie, but I have done alot of movies or stupid activities with friends just because I enjoy spending time with them. It is not all about you!!!
