People already kill for less so the idea of it getting out of control is crazy. Thats like saying doctors allow patients to die because they are organ donors. There are always gonna be people who abuse something. Just implement laws as always to counter the abuse.

If hearts, kidneys, etc, could be sold, do you doubt that murder for hire would happen? Larry Niven wrote a number of stories about "organlegging"
What about prisons? Wouldn't officials allow an "accident" to happen to redeem recently-used organs?
The potential for abuse is so high, that we can't put any money on donations for fear of causing terrible problems.

people will let doctors harvest their loved ones organs instead of trying to save them, because they can get 50 grand for their relative's kidneys and liver instead of paying 50 grand to save them.
