You say you are considered a bigot because you don't consider someone else's opinion important. Opinions aren't categorized as important or not important. You can have an opinion like everyone else, but if it is an opinion that judges others in a negative way with a narrow-minded attitude that your life and everything you are and everything you say is the RIGHT way, then you are a bigot. Why not just accept being a bigot if that's how you are going to be? If you weren't then nobody would call you a bigot. But it isn't because you don't consider someone else's opinion important.

What you are really asking is for others to validate your opinion. That is a matter of choice. Everyone has a right to an opinion but whether it is accepted or not is a different matter.
For example, lets say that there is a discussion about gravity and a group of people are giving their opinions on it. One person says that gravity doesn't exist, its all made up. Now this is that man's opinion on the matter, but the others did not give much importance to it because it lacked any rational or logical argument for it to be taken seriously.
If you don't want to be called a bigot or another term think before you type. I do have to say that there are those people who are PC zealots that are ready to shoot down the person before having an honest discussion.

The only way we consider someone a bigot is if they consider our rights and opinions MORE important than ours. If you believe that there should be laws restricting the rights that gays have in comparison to straights, yes you are a bigot.

I don't consider you a bigot, just narrow and closed minded if you don not consider someone elses answer to be important. The point is that your answer is not MORE important than anyone elses.

when your "opinions" are constantly insulting, hateful towards anyone who is "different" than you, and you have total disregard for anyone elses feelings or rights, then you are a bigot. you "use" religion to justify being a bigot, and pass judgment and preach intolerance. people like you are very quickly becoming a minority.....and hypocritical opinions are not considered important, either. if you don't consider us, or our opinions important....why do you make such an effort to shove yours down our throats?

You are only a bigot is you think your opinion is fact and the only opinion there is. If you treat other people's opinions as unimportant, yet want yours to be "just as important as anybody else's" then we'll consider it unimportant as well, because that's what you want, right?

i does no longer call you a homophobe for the reason that a homophobic is somebody who's strongly against, discriminates against, bashes or dislikes homosexuality or homosexuals and that i do no longer think of any of those issues rather prepare to you, even nevertheless it fairly is abvious you're no longer one hundred% professional-gay, judging basically by skill of the above question. i'm going to confess that the term is now and back overused. Incedintely, i discover your good judgment to be incorrect.

You're not a bigot if you consider other people's opinions not important, you're just narrow minded and uneducated.
