That depends on the state you live in, the job you have and the severity of your sickness. In most cases if you are vomitting no job will make you stay. If you are in a job where others health is also in danger many jobs will let you go home. This is especially the case if you have a temperature. If you aren't vomitting and don't have a temperature, but just don't feel good I don't see where it would hurt you to tough out the rest of the day. Then if you still don't feel good the next day you can call in with whatever advance notice your jobs requires. Tough it out... many ppl work when they don't feel well.

Not sure what the question is.... However...

You always have a right to leave at any time. Keep in mind, that if you leave your employer in a tight bind, and you have made a pattern of leaving / callin in sick, there is no reason not to terminate you.

Most states are "At-Will" employment. Meaning that they don't need to give you a reason to terminate you. This is a two way street however, you can also quit / leave at any time.

If the boss is smart enough to know you are too sick to work then he would let you go. If he is too dumb to know then you go home and if he sacks you then you have a case against him. Having something like the common cold would not be a good enough reason to go home.

You have the right to go home, if you are ill. However, your employer does not need to pay you. Your employer can also require documentation from a doctor. It is legal to fire you if you cannot or will not produce this documentation.

No, you can go home if you want. If he tells you to stay, you can leave. You don't have to listen to him. ALTHOUGH, you may not have a job the next day.

depends on what state you're in... they can request that you provide a dr's note if you leave early for being sick.

sounds like it's not a good place to work anyway if they'll be that way... deal with it and look for something better.

Sure they can tell you that. It's your decision whether to stay or not and you'll have to deal with the consequences.
