There are a lof of good safe places for a 16 yrs old to work at. Try working at a restuarant or something of that nature. Don't work at a gas station or anything like that. There is also the movie theatres and stores in the mall or someplace!

What are you, 198 months old? What kind of a person describes themselves as 16 1/2 years old? You are either 16 or 17. No one over the age of 8 describes their age with the phrase "and a half."

You should waitress, you'll probably start off as a hostess, but you will make great tips after you start waitressing. Also, if you work for a chain restraunt, you will probably be able to simply transfer locations when you move away to go to college. Good luck and way to be ambitious:)

The movie theater. Not only do you get paid you can see the latest movies for free and many times get in with friends for free on the days off. It was a huge money saver for my daughter.
