I have a G4, and I am cleaning it, I do not use anything from my past system, can this affect to my mac? thanks

"Probably won't notice"? Well, there's absolutely nothing for you to notice unless you have the System Preferences set to launch Classic at login. In that case, you should uncheck the option or it will complain fiercely.

"Taking up memory"? No chance. If it is not launching, it's not taking up any memory. It is taking up some drive space. If you will never again use OS 9, trash the "System Folder" folder (not the "System" folder), "Applications (Mac OS 9)" and "Previous System Folder" if you find one. Then empty the trash.

No it cant it just takes up memory and mac G4s have a lot of memory I have OS 9 too

If you are booting off of Mac OS X then deleting the OS 9 won't affect your Mac.
